From Sphygmomanometers to Phacoemulsifiers, Helicon uses calibrated test equipment to accurately verify your equipment is meeting manufacturers’ performance standards. We recommend testing every 12 months. Our calibrated equipment is tested annually by independent biomedical service engineers.

Our trained engineers attend your facility and verify the performance of your medical equipment assets in accordance with AS 3551. Upon completion, each piece of equipment will receive a test sticker detailing the test date and next due date according to Australian Standard AS 3551. You will receive detailed test reports for each individual asset as well as feedback on any recommendations moving forward. We also perform electrical safety testing on each asset to ensure it is safe to use for all staff and patients.

We complete this service for a range of customers including private hospitals, private day surgeries, aged care facilities, physiotherapists, podiatrists, and many other health facilities. We also support the state government through the AGFMA contract, testing all defibrillators in government facilities, including police stations, schools, TAFE facilities, correctional facilities and more.
